The Seven Critical Mistakes You Can't Afford to Make When Starting Modeling or Acting and HOW TO AVOID THEM is a must-read report if you want to avoid spending too much time and money making wrong career moves. This Special Report is only available in the YOU'RE A STAR! EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO JUMP-START YOUR ACTING OR MODELING CAREER report set that gives practical advice on how to get a headshot, where to find traning, how to find a legitimate agent, what to ask an agent when you get in the door, and much, much more. Here is an excerpt from the "Mistakes" report:

To illustrate this point, let’s look at it from the agent’s point of view. Say you are an agent in a market where national television commercial work pays your rent, while film work does not pay enough to warrant the effort. You have two submissions in front of you from talent looking for representation. One submission is from an actor with a nice theatrical (film) headshot and a resume on back. The other submission is from an actor who has a great commercial headshot, resume and, as a matter of fact, fits the breakdown for an audition you just received. Is this person ready to submit as is? Yes. Do you rely on this person’s “paper” presentation to tell you whether it would be a worthwhile gamble to submit him or her? Yes – simply because he or she looks knowledgeable and prepared through the materials. Now let’s say that the theatrical actor also fits the description for the commercial audition. Could you send the theatrical headshot out for the commercial spot? Maybe, but probably not. Do you, as a busy agent, have the time and inclination to guide this theatrical actor into getting his or her materials ready for the commercial market? Most of the time, the answer is no. The commercial actor’s materials are whizzed off for the audition, while the theatrical actor’s materials are, sorry to say, tossed in the trash simply because he/she did not take the time to research the market. Does a submission for representation actually get “whizzed” off for an audition like that?
